Barry Buckland was Vice President of Bioprocess Development at the Merck Research Labs for more than a decade until 2009. For the past 6 years he has been Executive Director of NIIMBL (National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals) and Visiting Professor at University College London (UCL). As a volunteer Barry acts as President of a not-for -profit organization, Engineering Conferences International (ECI).
